It's gonna depend on work-outs. He plans in a wacky offensive system. Cincy has been scoring points long before Pike got there. Tonight on ESPN is a good test for him as they play South Florida, a very quick defensive team, but Pike's NFL future could be round 1 or even 3. He will need to have a great workout for scouts. I doubt NFL teams will be fooled by what he's doing on the field now as fans are.Impossible is Nothing.

Untrue. Their system was implemented by Brian Kelly who is in his third year at UC. Pike became the starter last year, and missed most of the season with a broken arm. Mark Dantonio's system was not high-scoring. Rick Minter really had no system to speak of.Originally posted by Demon

While Pike's accuracy is better then Anderson's, Anderson played better competition and was much younger. Anderson also threw more, but stats are very similar. Both had pass happy offenses.Impossible is Nothing.

I remember watching a Syracuse/Cincy game late in the season few years ago, maybe 2 years ago maybe 3 i forget, it was a ESPN telecast and Cincy destroyed Syracuse. Announcers said Cincy has been playing pass happy and will be a team to watch in years to come. That's where my opinion came from about being pass happy before Pike's time.
