    Tony Pike- merged

I've read up on this kid from Cincinnati and watched some videos. I'd love top grab him in RD 2 or late 1st.

He may be gone by them. I see him as a likely top 20 pick in the 1st if he continues his play and workouts out well.

Can you see Buffalo trading up like they did to land Losman. Is he worth the jump? In your humble opinion is he worthy of an opportunity to be a guy we can hope can put it together in Buffalo eventually or too risky due to rawness

No because they'd need a much bigger jump and who knows he may be a top pick who they could take without moving much at all when its all said and done.

He's worth a shot imo, and Id take him over McCoy, Bradford, and Tebow right now.

If you were going to compare his style to any NFL starter: arm strength, foot work, pocket poise, heart. WHO

It's gonna depend on work-outs. He plans in a wacky offensive system. Cincy has been scoring points long before Pike got there. Tonight on ESPN is a good test for him as they play South Florida, a very quick defensive team, but Pike's NFL future could be round 1 or even 3. He will need to have a great workout for scouts. I doubt NFL teams will be fooled by what he's doing on the field now as fans are.

                Derek Anderson.
He is much, much, much more accurate than Anderson. Even in college Anderson couldn't complete a pass.

Untrue. Their system was implemented by Brian Kelly who is in his third year at UC. Pike became the starter last year, and missed most of the season with a broken arm. Mark Dantonio's system was not high-scoring. Rick Minter really had no system to speak of.

Brian Kelly openly admits that this is the first year that he feels he has his complete offensive system in place.

While Pike's accuracy is better then Anderson's, Anderson played better competition and was much younger. Anderson also threw more, but stats are very similar. Both had pass happy offenses.

I remember watching a Syracuse/Cincy game late in the season few years ago, maybe 2 years ago maybe 3 i forget, it was a ESPN telecast and Cincy destroyed Syracuse. Announcers said Cincy has been playing pass happy and will be a team to watch in years to come. That's where my opinion came from about being pass happy before Pike's time. I should have researched it and not taken the words of that telecast.

Everyone has destroyed Syracuse over the last 5 years.

It was the comment in the game. I don't care who beat Syracuse. I watch their games and that's the only reason i had the tv on when Cincinnati was playing.
