I can give you an exhaustive list of Sabres prospects that looked good for five games...got fans expectations too high...and then took public verbal abuse until being driven out of town.

Come on, Eb...yes, it's early, but you can't overlook that this kid is our BEST defenseman and he's doing it at the tender old age of 19!!! Anybody who's watched hockey long enough and knows the game, can tell this kid has something special. I hope he keeps it up!
