What a second round pick! This guy is a legitimate playmaker, wow. Two picks in two weeks, ladies and gentlemen, with Whitner playing up in the box and helping on run support, and Byrd as a ball hawk free safety, this is a pretty good DB unit when healthy. Maybe we can keep that in mind next season and work on the offensive lines, QB and LBs instead of drafting three DBs per draft.


Make that three interceptions in two weeks. One that was all money.

He's kinda short but the guy has made some nice plays. He might be a keeper. We'll see how consistent he can be.

Byrd is a true stud. When the draft was over, i was reading many scouting reports from the national media and Sporting News people compared him to Ed Reed and said it was the steal of the draft. I guess they weren't kidding. The kid is a play maker like you said. The INT on Edwards really impressed me. He wasn't anywhere near in position to even attempt the INT but adjusted pretty quickly and totally schooled Edwards. Glad he's on our team.

Don't forget he missed a bunch of time in training camp due to injury. The kid has been a bright side for us for weeks and ever since he started vs. the Browns he's been a star on our defense. Crazy to think... a star on the Bills defense. They finally got one right.
