anyone else think this kid is the future and should be a staple in the bills defense for years to come..this guy hits like a rocket and has great ball skills...reminds me a bit like steve atwater from the broncos in the good ol' days of football...

In three starts, he has more big hits and almost as many int's as whitner has for his entire career. Byrd is one of the few bright spots on this team

He was a better drafted Safety than Whitner was. And to think we got him in the 2nd round.

I loved him as a safety prospect and loved the pick in April... it's great to see him grow like this.
