Any word on if he'll play next week?

Dick Jauron will speak to the media at 12:30. We'll know more then.

To paraphrase Dizzy Dean, X-rays of Trent's brain showed nothing.

They probably won't know till Wednesday for sure, the hit didnt look as bad as last years but who knows anymore...

The issue I think here is more or less if the symptons are still around or not.

Granted I had a bad feed so it was a bit blurry, but I didn't even think he hit his head. I was expecting a leg injury as it looked like he got folded, or maybe a twinge in his back or something, but not a concussion.

I heard the injury was in his vagina.

Yeah, the Bills moved Jaurons 12:30 press conference to 11am this morning. He said they would further evaluate Edwards on Wednesday.

Oh good - Mr. Indecisive can't make a decision right away - he has to wait two days.

Shouldn't the fact that Edwards suffered a concussion in fall 2008, and less than 1 year later was taken out of a game early due to another serious head injury, be of sufficient concern to rest him for a week automatically?

Also, wouldn't it be better to begin preparing the team to play under the backup today rather than waiting another two days to decide?

Well it'll probably take until Wednesday with all the testing Edwards will undergo. They won't practice until Wednesday anyways. Fitz can watch tape and prepare just incase, until then, just as if he was going to play.

I doubt it. It will just make him hang out at the Dress Barn.

Did Trent's game play go downhill after the first concussion?

Considering this is his 2nd concussion, I doubt he plays this week.

He looked really sharp before his first concussion - hasnt looked the same since.

Yeah. It seems to me he hasn't been quite the same Trent since that first concussion of his last fall. When he returned his play looked terrible.

Perhaps he's 'gun shy' about being injured/hit? Or could it have affected his coordination ever so slightly?
