All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Wow! How was this a first down?

I just saw this story on Yahoo and had to share it. What the **** makes any ref think that is a first down? Horrible call!

Is it just me or are the refs worse than ever this year? I've seen so many bad calls and we are only at week 6.

meh...not much worse than usual. I just think they are getting called out more often for their bad calls which is good

Cleveland seems to get one ridiculous call go against them after another.

The FG in OT vs the Bengals that was called good and now this one.

I'm not as upset with this one because it didn't change the outcome of the game, but it's clearly not a first down.

The FG that Cincy kicked was actually good...

Im not saying the image is doctored because I know the play that the article refers to. But if I may ask, why is the refs arm pointing the wrong direction if in that picture he calls it a first? His arm should be extended to the toward the first down stick not away from it as it is in that pic.

I was wondering the same thing and then found a video. It was another ref moving some people out of the way....

It was called a first down on the field.

Pittsburgh got a FG right before halftime after this.

Before the camera zooms in, look at the yard marker... it is on an angle, so that camera view is not straight on. I say good call by the referees.
