    Should have been a suspension on the play Trent was injured..

    Or at least a fine.

    Notice how his knees were on the turf, then he was forcibly thrown backwards (with the defender pushing on his head)... I thought the league was oh-so-concerned about it's quarterbacks getting injured?

    Btw, I don't see how Trent gets a concussion on that play.. it wasn't a hard hit, just a malicious pushing/twisting of this helmet.

                The forehead pad is hard in football helmets. maybe it jammed into the top of his head. Plus its hits to the chin and jaw that really cause concussions. maybe his jaw clanged together hard on the play. wonder if he was wearing a mouth guard...

                      You are allowed to finish the play when the player has the ball in his hand.

                      Hence why no flag.

                        I certainly don't think the Jets player had to do what he did, but I don't see disciplinary action happening as a result.

                          Exactly. Had to be a chin shot that made an unwanted bite, pure shock to the brain.

                          Concussions suck, I've had 3, they're nothing to be messed with.
