BUFFALO - There's a distinct difference between the focus of a beat writer or local TV crew and a random dude from The Hockey News; this I became well aware of after witnessing the Sabres' 4-2 loss to Atlanta on Saturday.
Having watched rookie defenseman Tyler Myers a couple times so far this year, I had been very impressed with the confidence he had shown on the ice, coupled with the obvious physical advantages of being 6-foot-8 and in control of that frame.
