We (Edmonton City arenas) are hosting several exhibition games of Canada's national women's hockey team. My son and I went to a game last night and I gotta say the Olympic squad looks dangerous.

They have one player, Wakefiled, who is very skilled at all aspects of the game. She back checks, pesters you if you have the puck, can carry the play well inot the zone before setting up great scoring chances.

Goalie Sahnnon Szabados, local product who played in my areans in teh minor hockey system had a shut out as they National squad blanked a mens team.

Look out USA, Canada is looking ready to rock the Oly's.

Besides USA and Canada, does anyone even care about womens hockey? It's pointless. Canada vs. USA will play in the final. Who wins? Who cares?
