Bills fans. .You must check out this video.

It's a HOF video for Darryl Talley, absolutely amazing.

I encourage fans to leave comments in the comment section, as this post and video are being forwarded to someone from the official HOF site for further promotion.

God, if nothing else as a Bills fans what I wouldnt do to have this kind of player on this team right now.

Talley had my favorite football quote EVER

"Tell them to stay home, if they don't wanna get hit"

One of my 3 favorite Bills of all time. The open letter he wrote in the Buffalo News after the Bills released him was one of the classiest gestures I have ever seen.

I wish I was old enough to have seen all those guys play and understand what was going on at the time. I can only imagine how much fun it was watching those teams.

Those were bittersweet years. All that talent and no Super Bowls. But I'd take those teams back in a minute.

Wow! That was awesome! Just like all the others, Darryl Talley was one of my favorite players growing up. I'd love to see him go into the Hall of Fame.

I was lucky enough to be at the height of my Bills fandom during the 80's-90's. I spent alot of time at the stadium through those years. It was an incredible thing to have been part of and I miss it terribly. The memories though are awesome and DT is a huge part of those. The best part is that DT is such a good guy on top of it. I hope he makes it to the Hall.

I'd like to see him at the very least get serious consideration..

that group were tight . These days players have nothing nice to say about the bills and want out.

thanks Ralphy.

I would watch it if your site didn't keep redirecting me to some stupid search engine.

I've gotten that a time or 2 also. Another thing that happens is pop ups lately that are getting by my blocker. About 1 of every 5 times I go to the site.

Edit : not a complaint, more of an observation :D

Great piece. He was a force out there. Agreed he didnt get enough props for what he did week in and week out. He is what the Hall Of Fame was created for.

I think if the Bills won a super bowl, like 5 more players from that squad would get serious HOF consideration, mostly LBs and O-line.

Buffalo Graffiti does a great job with this stuff, I just wish it was longer. Thanks for the link Pat.

As a fan for 46 years, there are three players that stick in my mind as the best the Buffalo Bills have ever had.

OJ Simpson
Robert James
Darryl Talley

<!--Session data-->

I was 12-16 during the superbowl runs. the most formative football years. I realized then it was special because my dad would repeat over and over that it had never been done. but i didn't realize how special it was until i went through these 10 years. I vaguely remember how awful the 2-14 seasons were. I remember my dad taking me to my first game and ralph wilson got boo'd at halftime.

These ten years have been on the verge of criminal. I hope that i get to see another 4 year run encapsulated in 1 year that finishes with a superbowl win.

Telling ya.. Leave comments under the video on the post. i know for a fact he's reading them..

and BTW, I can (but won't) write a very derogatory post about the Buffalo Bills organization. I know for a fact they are doing little or nothing to help promote his cause, unlike they've done with Andre Reed and Steve Tasker
