Because Jackson is certainly not as good a punt returner as Parrish. Maybe he is a better punt "catcher" though.

which still is a step up from fumbles and negative returns.

So, a few bad plays negates all the good returns he's had over the past several years?

I laugh at all the idiots who say "he sucks", he led the league the last two years in punt return average I believe.

roscoe has checked out. he only returns a TD in the first game of the season. he is taking a roster spot and doing jack with it. he's a liability as a blocker when he's a WR on a run play. he is awful and we needed more from him. at his salary, he's a waste

The reality is, he no longer contributes as a WR, and he only occasionally did before. With all the injuries etc. we have had, that isn't good enough to justify dressing on a sunday, when Jackson can do the job well enough.

A year ago that was Roscoe taking that reverse for a 10 yard loss, instead of a 1 yard gain. TO almost made it.....:sadwalk:

No, Jauron is just trying to show he's a man by benching a player. Parrish is a much better returner then Jackson and should be playing.

Let Parrish sit. Jackson did fine ... I still rather have other players active then Parrish fielding punts and being forced in as a WR

Because Jackson fumbles and goes back and loses like 20 yards on punts, right? Yeah, Jackson, by doing absolutely nothing, is a big upgrade over Parrish. Now imagine if Jackson actually does something.....
