The Bengals or Steelers, vice verso will get one spot.

I believe the 2nd playoff spot can come out of AFC EAST... jets, miami, buffalo.

houston, jax, tenn, san diego, baltimore are the major threats fighting for it.

I feel a 9-7 season will get the 2nd WC this season due to san diego, balt., tenn, jax not playing up to potential. Still an unlikely scenario, but all i am saying that it won't take as much to pull it off this season. In past 10-6 wasn't even enough.

Tennessee? Huh? I could have sworn the standings read Tennessee: 0-6. Maybe I need to reread them.

I'm not conceding the Bengals anything. Palmer has been injury prone. If he goes down, so do their chances.

Here's how it shakes out in reality:

East: New England

Central: Pittsburgh

South: Indianapolis

West: Denver

Wildcard possibilities: Houston, Cincinnati, New Jersey Jets, Baltimore, Miami, San Diego (only because of their schedule...not based on their actual quality)

Wildcard pretenders: Buffalo, Jacksonville

Personally, I'll take Houston and Baltimore as the two wildcards.

Pass me the **** you are smoking, bro.

Have you watched this team this year? We have the worst offense in league history. We are going to win 6 more games? Get real.

If we beat Houston, we will be 4-4. In order to be in the second wild card spot at this point in the season, we need the Houston win.

Bills 4-4.

Miami would need to beat the Jets, putting them at 3-4 and putting the Jets at 4-4, but we have the tie breaker.

Jags need to lose to Tenn and move to 3-4.

Baltimore needs to lose to Denver and move to 3-4.

And Sandiego needs to lose to Oakland.

That would put us at the 6th AFC playoff spot at this point in the season, then all that has to happen is for the Bills to win 5-6 more games and hope a couple teams continue to lose. But it doesnt matter with only 8 games in the books.

What is going to matter is in December when we have a 7-9 record and are sitting at home come playoff time.

if we lose this week very hard to get WC

I put Tenn in there because they are USUALLY playoff contenders and not this season. It was done to show we do not need to have a 10-11 win season to get that spot due to teams like San Diego, Tenn not being as strong.
