There’s little question at this point that Byrd’s potential is enormous. Right now, with the way he’s playing, he’s one of the elite safeties in the league. Without getting too excited, and without making overzealous claims about his future or calling him a building block to future successes in Buffalo – because nothing is so clear-cut in the NFL – Byrd’s play has been outstanding.

this kid is exciting to watch, he tackles pretty well also.

The question is if he locks in FS then does donte lock in SS and they bench Scott?

He's good with lots of potential.

But he's only had 2 good games.

Don't anoint him as the second coming of Ed Reed just yet.

Lock Whitner and Scott in a bathroom and let them beat the **** out of each other, literlaly. Whoever comes out can play SS until someone better comes along.
