Barry Sanders and the Lions had an arbitration hearing earlier this month.

ALLEN PARK -- It has been five years since Barry Sanders last carried the ball for the Lions, but the leading rusher in franchise history is hoping for a $700,000 gain from his old team.

Sanders and the Lions are in the midst of an arbitration process to determine if the franchise owes him an option payment of $700,000 that was included in a clause in his last contract.

    Note to Barry:

    You quit...you get nothing.

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

After all of the respect I used to have for the man, all I can say now is that he is VERY self-centered.

Even if he is legally owed the 700,000.....how can a "man of faith", or a person who is not self-centered honestly ask for money after abandoning a team, at a point in the season where finding a replacement was not viable?

Not to mention his no-show at his Michigan Hall of Fame induction.

He has really pissed me off with his lack of respect for the fans, and his obvious intent to continue to 'stick it' to the Lions.
