Nothing to get excited about at all. Though he'd be perfect in Buffalo, he and Losman were teammates in college.

but why are we working out a QB, usually its LBs, DT's etc...why a qb?

but why are we working out a QB, usually its LBs, DT's etc...why a qb?Because Fitzpatrick and Edwards are two of the worst QB's in the NFL? And Edwards probably won't be ready for a couple more weeks.

I'm assuming Edwards injury is worse then we think and the coaches don't want to continue going into games with just Fitzy and Hamdan?

those tulane guys are tops! he wasn't very good in washington. I'm guessing with an even worse line, he isn't going to be much better.

What's the point of carrying a third QB if you don't trust him when he backs up the back up?

If they sign Ramsey and cut Hamden, then what is bb.com going to do with "Hanging 10 with Hamden?" WHAT WILL WE DO WITHOUT IT!??!?!

That would be worse then losing 68 seconds with Langston Walker.

Ramsey, if signed, will be the best QB on our roster. And he's a journeyman at best.

I think we tried a QB out to make it easy to cut our current 3rd string QB... The fumbling dwarf.

We're one blown block away from having Hamdan playing on Sunday. I'm fine with any QB with NFL experience getting a tryout for the Bills.

They should have addressed the LB and Qb positions better in the off season.

Patrick freaking Ramsey, are you ***** kidding me? Who's next on the list? Maybe Jeff George wants to make his 98th comeback?

Why exactly is Hamdan even on this team ? If he sucks that bad that they have to try out other qb's then cut him.

Is there any QBs out there that are even worth a look? I mean, if Ramsey is the best available, what's the point?

We should have done what Miami did and traded for the kid from KC who played well last year. Tyler Thigpen.

We will need a new #3 QB if Edwards still isn't ok, since Hardy will be back after the bye week and Parrish will be send packing.

Was Andre Ware too busy to try out?

How about Tim Couch?

Why not just bring JP back?

What a mockery.

You know we're bad at QB when your excited about Patrick Ramsey. I know he's nothing special, but I'd rather have him than Fitzie or Cpt Checkdown

They are looking for a #3 QB. Thigpen would automatically move up past Fitzpatrick and Edwards as the new #1. Bills don't want any controversy. lol

Amazing to think, Bills have not had a 300 yard passing game in like 44 games in a row, while, Thigpen, playing for a horrid team, figured out how to get one. It's mind boggling.

lol nah... we actually owned him.

Against Miami, he went 20 for 41, for 320 yards, 3TD and 2 INTs.

This post should be framed. Exactly.

Did we just figure out our 3rd string QB isn't good enough?

For the 10th time, i doubt the Bills are looking for a replacement for any of our current QBs. They will NEED a 3rd QB if Edwards gets hurt after the bye week since they will be cutting Parrish when Hardy returns. Come on, think outside the box people. I know it's Tuesday but still!

If Edwards can't play vs. Tennessee, they WILL NEED another QB on the roster.

If we're counting on Patrick Ramsey leading us at QB I'd actually prefer we tryout some QB with little to no NFL experience and hope we unearth another Kurt Warner, Jake Delhomme (when he was a playoff caliber QB) or list another undrafted NFL QB who's lead his team to the playoffs.

That's right, I forgot they put Quinn Gray in that game. Combined, they threw for over 300 yards.

Brooks Bollinger has been looking really good in the UFL ffrom what I've read, and is considered to be the most likely UFL guy to get signed to an NFL roster in Nov. when UFL guys can sign with NFL teams. Seeing him w/the Jets, and getting some seasoning in the minor league, he seems like as good a candidate as any any to be the next Warner/Maddox type signing.

The problem with "finding" guys like Warner and Maddox is, they came straight into a great situation. Warner was on a Rams team that was gonna be one of the surprises with Trent Green at QB. They were actually destroying teams with Green in pre-season and were 3-0 when Green got hurt. Maddox went to a loaded Steelers team. The transition is much easier going to a team thats well coached and has talent all around you.

With no coaches here, and Owens really not doing anything, anyone we bring in, will look just as bad. We need a huge overhaul of the offense this winter.

This makes sense. Ramsey isn't any good, but at least he's a serviceable backup should Trent be out for the rest of the season.

I think Fred Jackson has some experience at QB. Don't some teams only keep 2 QBs on the roster?

Is it urgent that we have 3 QBs?

We went all of last year with 2 if I'm not mistaken. JP, Trent, and Hamdan on the PS with a few games on the active roster when Trent went down.

No, Hamdan was active all last year, listed as 3rd QB...took up a spot on the 53, as he did the year before also. Trents first year we kept 2 QB's till JP got hurt, then we had 3 the rest of the season.

If he was brought in, then the Bills are considering shutting down Edwards for the year.
