How do you think they will do? I think they are going to do pretty good. If they can work on their defence they would be unstopable. Last year there Defence could not stop the run. If we get some good run-stopping DT's who can clog up the inside holes then our OLB's can get the backs on the outside. Our Offence will have no problem. Stan Hill will do a good job becuase that game where leftwich was hurt against Miami (ohio) He threw 4 TD's and 2 int's. The picks were the WR's fault 2. If he does some growing and put's on some weight he could possibly be a late 1st round pick in 2 years. His arm is good , great accuracy, and he is pretty mobile. Another thing that has to happen is that Darius Watts HAS to step up. Last year he made alot of drops that could have changed the outcome in their losses. Against VT he dropped the 1st 3 balls that were threw to him. 2 of which were TD's. I have to say marshall is a good team and has a great offence. Now only if we could get a defence.

One thing you might want to consider is Marshall's football future.

With the ACC raiding the Big east, It is entirely possible the Big East will fill the void by raiding Conference USA and possibly bring Marshall into the big East.

If Marshall is overlooked by the Big East, C-USA might invite them, a big step up from the MAAC. Another possibility is the Big 10 expanding to 12 teams to compete with the ACC/Big 12/SEC. 12 seems to be the magic number for football conferences (2 divisions with the champ game) in the whole stupid BCS formula.

Look for Marshall to go to the C-USA/Big East/ Big 10 (dark horse) in the near future.
