All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

i get the idea, but you could point out missed picks by every single team. I wish there was some sort of statistic to show the hit percentage on draft picks, like the percentage of draft picks for each team that actually became something decent. I bet someone somewhere has broken this down but I dont feel like searching that much lol
you guys continue to amaze me with this 06 draft bs.
we should have drafted cutler. hands down. if you don't agree, your high.
ngata, although a good d-tackle, isn't a franchise qb.
we could have a 26 year old jay cutler right now with 3+ years under his belt. we could have drafted rice then instead of trent.
then we would have cutler, sidney rice, lee evans, marshawn lynch...if things like that happened i'd be willing to bet we'd have won a few more games, more players would have wanted to stay.

nobody wants to stay with a loser.
He prolly would have whined his way out of Buffalo demanding to be traded, but yes he is a much better QB than anything we've had in several years
better scouts would have also passed on trading any picks for JP.
and mccargo
and taking roscoe parrish in the 2nd and tim anderson and chris ellis in the 3rd, and on and on and on
I think everyone on this board knows we need new talent evaluation
our depth is horrible
our practice squad is mismanged
and our free agents never work out
sad

In hindsight, I would definitely rather have Cutler....
BUT....DT was, by far, our biggest need in '06, and Ngata was, by far, the best DT in the draft. He was a no-brainer pick in the 1st round. I can't understand how they didn't take him.
