I agree. Way overrated imo and I hope the Bills don't take him. Since the Bills routinely throw away their #1 picks he should be right on their radar screen.

Colt McCoy is a system QB who basically runs a 1 or 2 read (depending on the play) single wing option offense (sure it looks fancy but that Texas offense is less complex then most high school offenses)

Only half the time he throws does he even have more then 1 possible receiver on a play (the rest run dummy routs), and even then he does a pretty bad job looking off the coverage.

He's a poor man's Vince Young (no where near the runner, and a marginally better passer), and we've all seen how well Vince Young adapted to the NFL. I wouldn't be so down on him if he was a smart guy. But every rumor i've heard about the kid says he might be the dumbest box of rocks to play QB in Texas in years.

so we have a dim bulb running what amounts to a flashy option offense. I don't know why I'd be so down on the kid. But right now he looks like a solid 4-7th round pick.

I agree anytime you watch him with any type of pressure on him he runs scared.
I personally do not like him as a NFL QB either.
