    An interesting spin on why the 2010 draft could be full of juniors

    Because of the possibility of a 2011 lockout, or rookie cap:

    Oklahoma State Dez Bryant, a day after being suspended for the rest of 2009 for lying to the NCAA, won't say whether he'll give up his 2010 eligibility and enter the draft.


    Add in the possibility that teams may not spend much due to an uncapped year, and its time to go shopping from the draft!

    Don't forget the other rules inherent in the uncapped year - like the top 8 not being able to sign a player in FA until they lose one, the raising of restricted FA years....

    I think like you do that this will be an exceptional year to get quality players in every round. Now, a good staff can do that typically any year; but in this case there will be kids that think that they'd rather get third round money this year (or first as per their agent) rather than the slotted amount next.
