    Connolly, Goose not on the ice at Pepsi Center for practice

    The Sabres are practicing today at the Pepsi Center but Tim Connolly and Paul Gaustad are not on the ice. Adam Mair is skating in place of Connolly.

      Connolly is like your favorite car that happens to be a lemon. You have to treat it just right if you expect it to last the long haul. if he needs the day off now so he can play tomorrow, then i'm all for giving him the night off.

      Hopefully it's nothing serious.

        According to Bucky Gleason, Gaustad has the flu. He played through it last night.
