CONNOLLY  Quiet everybody while I have a "me" moment.

Well it's getting better but they're still sloppy with the puck. And they need to stop being so lazy at the end of periods. They almost got beat again

Gave away a point tonight.

I believe this is the second time this season we gave away a free point- I hate that ****.

Despite the good start, this team still lacks that killer instinct and lets opponents stick around too long. No one showed up tonight except Connolly and Miller.

And is there any doubt that Goose is underrated? This looked like a different team without him.

S11 must be having another "me" moment after that OT winner.

Lindy says a bunch of the team has the flu, which is killing the teams energy. He said he really didn't like the teams energy level tonight and Miller most certainly knew that he was going to have to win the game.

Sekera will be made active for the game tomorrow, and Paestch will play forward. I didn't hear who it is who needs to come out of the lineup to require it.

Does anyone really care that we gave a point away to a lottery team?

A point to a team that won't finish anywhere near a playoff spot, and that doesn't even have their own first round draft pick next year, so the better they finish as long as they miss the playoffs is better for us, since Boston has their pick and a much better core than Toronto.

So the Maple Laughs end up with 21 pts instead of 20 by season end.......no biggie

When they finish as the 3rd wost team instead of the 2nd worst by 1 point, I'll be pleased.

It will put them in a worse position in the draft so it all works out.

I think LT forgot that a team that loses in OT still gets a point.

I think LT forgot that a team that loses in OT still gets a point.uh..no. But you still got two points so you didn't give anything away that matters

Last year, the sabres sturggled to play complete games and let teams hang around too long. As a result, they either lost the game or gave up a free point in the standings, often to teams competing with them for playoff spots.

Is toronto going to be one of those teams? Not likely, but it's still frustrating to see them failing to put teams away and ceding points to crappy teams at home, just like last year

It is really mind boggling to see someone frustrated with 8-1-1.

Just like it was mind-boggling to see me frustrated when the Bills were 5-1 last year? How'd that one work out?

I seem to remember the Sabres getting off to a hot start last year too. And while some things have been corrected, a lot of things haven't. So, it's only mind-boggling if you take a myopic view and forget that there's still 72 games to play.

How many games did they mess up at the end this year so far and give an opponent a point? More than this one?

A team ravaged with the flu still gets 2 points and people are still complaining.

The Tampa Bay shootout game.
The opening loss to Montreal.

And for that matter, what about the Nashville game? We outplayed them the whole game but they were still in it because the Sabres couldn't get one measly game.

That's telling a lopsided tale.

We were forced into overtime by giving up a short-handed goal against the worst team in the league at home.

There is plenty reason to complain.
