Yesterday, I ran a story counting down the Bills 5 LEAST Valuable Players (http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/2009/11/the-bills-midseason-five-least-valuable-players/)in the first half of the season.

This morning, I got a poll up. Topic: NOT counting Jairus Byrd, who's been the Bills first half MVP?

Schobel, Jackson, Stroud, Ellison, Moorman

Please vote here (http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/)to give me insight for a countdown coming tomorrow.

Thanks!

Eric Wood. Our best lineman by far (not that it is saying much) is a rookie

Fred Jackson

Even though his presence on offense has died down a bit, he has still been a force on special teams.

I'd say jackson... hes been the only solid guy game in and out. its a shame he has to split carries with marshawn who has seem to have found ''willis magahee dance behind the line of scrimage and not follow your blocks syndrome''

well i think he has punted 50 times so if a few sucked i see ur point, but he has consistently pinned teams inside the 20,
I was being sarcastic by the way
the only player worth a damn on this team right now and seems to try every time he gets a chance is Fred jackson hands down

I hope he is. They don't make this stuff up.

For the second time this season a Bills special teamer has earned league honors. Punter Brian Moormanhttp://www.buffalobills.com/assets/img/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster/brian-moorman/5c96b3a6-d72a-4934-91e3-17fd7873ec27/) was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Buffalo’s 20-9 victory over Carolina in Week 7 action.
Moorman had a net punting average of 43.5 last Sunday with a long of 55. He also dropped four of his eight punts in the game inside the Carolina 20-yard line helping to consistently pin the Panthers offense deep in their own territory.
Carolina’s average drive start in the game was their own 19-yard line. Moorman was also able to get consistent hang time on his punts allowing his coverage team to hold Carolina returners to a miniscule return average of just two yards on six punt returns.
Moorman currently ranks second in the AFC and fifth in the league in net punting average with an outstanding mark of 41.1 as he tries to make it to the Pro Bowl as an AFC representative for the third time in his career.

Outside of Byrd over 4 games, maybe we don't have an MVP. It's been a pretty down year.
