Oh well, I guess there's just no room for him. Our 4th line is our most consistant line and it shouldn't be changed, which leaves him as odd man out.

Fine with me. I like Ellis more. Did we waive to clear money for Marty B?

Biron will be available, somehow, at some point. He will probably be traded or let go as odd man out when DiPietro is back to 100% in a few weeks. Biron would just be a rental, though, because he is intent on being a starter somewhere next season.

I liked Mair maybe we should have waived paetsch or Hecht instead

I really believe Biron will be a Sabre either later this year or next. I have no inside information on that, just a total gut feeling.

The move to waive Mair surprises me, but not totally. There really just hasn't been any room for him this year and if anything, he goes unclaimed and gets to play in Portland. It has to be better than sitting in the press box every night.

I would rather sit in the press box.

There definitely were other players that should have been waived...those two should have been first and second on the list...Lalime should have been ahead of Mair also.

Agreed, but they can't waive Lalime or make any real move with him until they have his replacement ready. Enroth isn't that guy right now.

                          Hecht of last year yes.

                          Hecht of this year, no.

I would have rather seen Kennedy go back to Portland. He needs some more seasoning.
