    Is TO's injury legit?

Or is it a "My team is 3-5 and going nowhere, so no need to play and get hurt" injury?

Owens served his primary purpose by selling season tickets when the invoices were slow to return. Queue the Doobie Brothers music " What A Fool Believes ".

To the Bills number crunchers, he's been worth every penny.

I think TO is suffering from an extremely bruised ego.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I know I was going to start a thread late last week asking who was going to get injured because I knew they couldn't get paste the bye without a loss.

Probably they want to give Hardy some playing time.

              Re: Is TO's injury legit?

I just posted a thread on why. I believe it's a PR move. Hardy maybe figuring big into the Bills offense which means TO isn't. Not suiting up allows less scrutiny.

The media will just say that TO was benched in favor of Hardy if he's getting the ball alot.

Remember the Miami game when Evans had caught 3 TDs and Moulds had a hissy fit on the sidelines.

so will the bills put TO on the IR? save him the indignity of going down with the ship, give him a settlement and let him start afresh somewhere else next year?

THe whole TO situation was a joke to get the fans off Skeletor's ass
                  and to sell tickets
now that this is over with he is looking towards playing somewhere else next yr and could care less about here or the Bills
another awesome move by the front office and the coachign staff for thinking he would fit in
THey need to rebuild TO should not be part of those plans Nor Scum bag Vick

                    Re: Is TO's injury legit?

when will the front office man up like the Cleveland owner and actually take some responsibilty for this joke of a season?

I want brandon, modrak and guy making phone calls to all season ticket holders, i want to have a tanglible plan presented on why next year will be any different, why the draft won't be blown for the 10th straight year and how we plan to be competitive in an uncapped year.

The silence is the most disturbing thing. At least the other bad teams try to address the bad. We just seem to linger in it.

I can in no way believe a player like TO would be ok with not playing. Especially the way he wants to out preform Roy Williams this year. Sorry he's an ass at times but he's still a guy who loves the game.
