Why did Jauron bench Edwards at the end...?

Could someone explain the thought process behind bringing in Fitzpatrick?

Trent Edwards made the worst 3 consecutive passes I may have ever seen that ended with an interception... but what is Fitzpatrick supposed to come in and do? He sucks too... but let Trent hang himself these last 8 games, and stop pretending like we got something to play for....

I just don't get it...


also... why not let one of the young LBers play instead of starting a damn safety at LBer? How bad is our front office at drafting and signing free agents that we have to play a safety at Lber when the starter goes down... and the starter wasn't even that great to begin with? The front office just brought in a veteran Lber a couple weeks ago... but apparently he was worse than our safety??

I just don't get it...

We lost the game when Jauron decided to not accept the holding call. Blaming Edwards for the loss makes Jauron look better.

Bringing Fitzpatrick in was gutless.

All you need to know is our coaches suck and don't know what they are doing and our front office has no clue how to draft and build a team.

Dickless should have let Jackson take over ... He didn't have trouble with the o-line managed to toss the ball farther then either of the girl scouts we have for qb and didn't turn the ball over....!

My friend actually had the same theory. He thinks Jauron is trying to distance himself from Trent for some reason...

The entire team was terrible today... but taking out Trent at the end made no sense.

Starting Scott and LBer is an indictment of the front office's lack of talent evaluating ability... they drafted LBer's the last 2 years... brought another in as a free agent, but apparently they aren't good enough to start over a safety who never played LBer before...

Edwards wasn't the problem today for the zillionth time. Edwards is not immune from criticisim this season but he was not the problem today. He was under duress the entire game. How did Lynch do?

He wasn't close on two 12 yard outs then threw the pick 6.

I've seen enough passing plays by any QB on this roster this season.

Just line up Fred or Marshawn at QB and run the option the rest of the year.

I'd seen enough too.

Playing for one score with almost 3 minutes to go is alot different than playing for two scores with 3 minutes to go. The whole gameplan changes.

The game was over and it allowed the Titans to tee off because they knew we were throwing.

Our o-line sucked all day today. How many false start penalties did we have? Ohh, that was Edwards fault as well.

Could have just been protecting the guy in his first game back from a concussion. The game was, barring a miracle, over, do you really want to expose him to the last minute desperation passing game when the D will be in super pass rush mode? It would have been different if we were still in the game...

When the game is over, you don't risk injury to the player that dictates your future based alone on the next seven game evaluations.

When the game is on the line, despite how talented our backs are, you don't use plays that have three patterns in them total, all from the same 3 players.
