boarderline:

demetrius bell, ryan denney, chris draft, keith ellison, trent edwards(only as a backup), ryan fitzpatrick(3rd string), derek fine, justin jenkins, ellis lankster, john mccargo, jamon merideth, ashlee palmer, jonathon scott, john wendling, and donte whitner

the rest? there is no reason for the rest to be on this team next year.

Byrd, Moorman, McKelvin, McGee, Stroud, Nelson, Evans, Levitre, Wood are definite keepers. Perhaps Hardy, Maybin, Steve Johnson, Palmer, N. Harris and Corner for another year on potential.

I probably have missed a couple, but almost everyone else has proven to be average or below.

Offense: Lynch, Jackson, Nelson, Steve Johnson, all of our linemen (we do need to upgrade our tackles, but I'd keep our current tackles for depth).

Defense: Stroud, Williams (as a backup), Kelsay, Schobel, Maybin (too early to give up), Poz, Ellison (good backup), McGee, McFumbles, Byrd, Harris.

Special Teams: Moorman.

i was originially going to say, Keep the midget trainer, can everyone else. but no one stays healthy on this team, so can him too.

i think every position can be upgraded. and if we need to have the 32 ranked special team to have top 10 O and D, make it happen, captain.

WR: Hardy (cause u got to see what he can do still) S.Johnson, L Evans,

K: Lindell
P: Moorman
LS: Sanborn

DT: Stroud, Williams Johnson
DE: Maybin (cause u got to see what u got in a 3-4 or if he makes move to OLB) all the rest dont let the door hit u on the way out overpaid bums
OLB: Harris, Palmer, only LBs over 230lbs LOL
MLB: Poz
CB: McKelvin, McGee, Corner, Lankster, Florence
SS: Scott Wilson
FS: Byrd

All the rest are garbage argue what u want, will anyone really miss players like Schobel? or TO? or whitner?
We need a complete rebuild of philosphy and scheme so ****ing sad

He is an average DE at the end of his career, who gets mostly garbage sacks but that being said he is getting paid a boat load of money to be avg
If i was going to rebuild a franchise those type players are the 1st getting cut
if Schobel was 25 then different story

The very first move is seeing who has trade value on the current roster. If the player is deemed expendable, get draft picks for them. Aaron Schobel, Donte Whitner, and Marshawn Lynch come to mind along with Trent Edwards. Next, reformulate the offensive and defensive strategies and sign free agents and draft players that fit the system! It wouldn't hurt to bring in veterans who actually know how to win (ala Art Still and Jim Jeffcoat) and allow them to mentor the rookies. FIND A FRANCHISE QB, now!!
