If the Pats beat the Titans 59-0 and we gave up 41 points to the pats. Does this mean we are instore for a 100-0 beating on December 20th to the pats? :-)

I don't know, but there is no math in your equation.

Unless of course you meant we gave up 41 to the Titans. :;

the mathematical property that if a=B and b=c, then A=C. If the patriots got 59 on a crap titans team, and then we let the titans put up 41 points on us, then isn't it safe to assume that the pats will put 59 points on us and then another 41.

it's pretty much all tongue in cheek.

not going to happen. I actually think we will stick with the pats somewhat. We are pretty good against the pass, which is the forte of the pats offense. It will probably work just like it usually does; we will be "in" the game until the second half at which point our piss poor offense will go 3 and out over and over a gain leaving our D dog ass tired.

And the "any given sunday" rule needs to be taken into consideration as well. I mean, the Rams almost stunned the Saints yesterday and every expected a complete beat down by Brees and Co. The whole "they scored this against this team" philosophy doesn't hold up 99 out of 100 times. It's the NFL....no two games are EVER alike.
