NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The NFL is looking into reports Tennessee owner Bud Adams made an obscene hand gesture from his luxury suite and from the field while celebrating his Titans' 41-17 win over Buffalo.
Adams offered an apology on Monday, saying he got caught up in the emotion of the game.

I think Goodell is under greater pressure to do something because he was there. He wasn't there when it happened, but he had been in the box, and was still at the game.

It looks bad on Goodell, regardless.

The emotion of the game?

He just beat a team that is so dysfunctional they make the Washington Redskins look like a well oiled machine. Our front office is a mess, our coach is a moron, our QB looks like a frightened 4 year old watching a Freddy Kruger movie, and we have a WR making 6.5 million a year who has dropped more passes than he's caught and is moping around half the time. Yet, Bud Adams is throwing them the finger because he got caught up in the emotion of the game. What emotion do we inspire except laughter or sobbing at this point? Adams has lost his mind. Ralph and him should vacation together at the local retirement home at this point.

Bud Adams wasn't the only one giving our sidelines the finger. I know I sure was.

It was classless considering they won the game... Wasn't the damn music city miracle enough? This game didn't mean diddly poo to either team. They are both going nowhere.

The news shows him standing in the front row of his box, flipping double birds for a good long time. He really wanted people to see it.

At age 86, I'm sure he could actually care less despite the apology.

Why does he care about beating the Bills so much? Does he and Ralph have personal issues? Is he still bitter about The Comeback?

I don't want his apology I want him to give Ralph another middle finger.

I am glad he gave the bills the finger, they deserve it.

How nice would it be to have an owner who cares about winner and is emotional about it.

The game meant a lot to him and he showed it, mean while Ralph was just sitting there acting like his usual dumb ass self
