Bills fear LT Bell’s knee injury is season-ending

By JOHN WAWROW, AP Sports Writer

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP)—Bills left tackle Demetrius Bell’s(notes) right knee injury could be season-ending, leaving the team’s young and banged-up line down another starter.

Coach Dick Jauron said Monday further tests are required, but he’s “not optimistic.”

someone is going to have to step up and take his false start penalties and his 3rd and short penalties. This is no small task, but i trust Jauron to coach up his talent to match that high level of play that we've seen from so many players so far.

Now I see why Karl Malone never talked to Demetrius. too much of a low blow?

I think it will prioritise the search for LT, whether in FA or in the draft. We could well have missed a trick in the 2009 draft by not going after Oher or Voller on Day1

Chalk up another awesome move by our front office and Skeletor's regime
guess signing a guy like Levi Jones or Runyan would have been real dumb
as dumb as cutting ur starting LT no matter how bad he looked in the preseason 5 days before the seaosn is
Way to go OBD way to go

Mark my words.

The Bills are going to sign another OT, and he's going to be nothing more than insurance. Chambers or Meredith will start at LT, and thats assuming Scott is even back this week or they both will start.

This is the worst team management I have EVER seen from the Bills, and that includes then teams of the mid 80s
