He thinks the Bills will go "young" and "cheap" for their next head coach. Could be just speculation, but he did break this story today.

I trust Vic Carruci over Canfora any day and Vic says we're going proven. :awm:

I'm sure there will be more coming out. He also said he doesn't want to speculate too much because it's too early.

that is obviously where the smart money is. look at the blo news article on our past coaches. not too many big names other than Saban and knox...and that was before prices really took off.

But i happily keep my blinders on and choose to enjoy this day. Then we'll deal with tomorrow and the speculation of what's next.

I really think, if big change is happening, they'll announce the new GM before seasons end.

Who in the **** is La Canfora

He is a Fantasy Football "expert"

On NFL Network one of the commentators said in the Bills organization more changes are needed than the head coach, Wade Phillips, Greg Williams and Mike Mullarkey are all well-respected NFL minds (and currently are key coaches on playoff caliber teams) - We are off to the right start now just need to pillage to Front Office and bring in some true football guys and hire a proven coach who brings in some good coaches/football minds:nuk:

Why would anyone be surprised with this? Of course he's going to go cheap and young.

Being a Bills fan, you pretty much always have to think the worst at this point. However, with Carucci's statement this past week, perhaps Ralph decided to let go of Jauron early simply so that he could begin the process of deciding WHICH of the big name coaches he thinks is best for Buffalo. Chances are low that this is the case considering his past, but I am going to wish anyway!

Either way, this is a wonderful day that marks the beginning of a NEW era in Bills history! I feel like a dark cloud is gone!

Here is to hope! :beers:

I've been wanting this guy for a couple years now.

The problem is he's stated numerous times that he has no desire to leave Iowa.

Now is the time for him to leave if there ever was one. Show him some cash and he can leave Iowa on top of the world.

Ferentz name came up about 5 years ago red hot and that was when he first stated he wasn't leaving. Personally Id love to bring him in here.
