Guarantee if he has a winning record coming in like 4-3 and we finish 7-9, he''ll be the head coach.

Hate to say it but I'm rooting now, more than ever, for losses.

I could care less. Jauron is gone. Once the season is over, then I'll be concerned with the coach. If it's Fewell, I'll be right back to being pissed. If it's another unknown coordinator or former losing HC, I'll be pissed. But for now, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this.

They will hire a GM and Fewell will get a chance to interview. Doubt he gets past the interview stages no matter what his record is as interim coach.

Get a higher draft pick, we have enough talent to pull a complete 180, imho. We got some gamers, we just need a better front office to keep bringing in talent and hopefully solid coaches.

He would actually be perfect for the interview because of the Rooney Rule.

Fewell is the Rooney Rule candidate.

Why do you have to piss on the parade already? Enjoy the fact that Dick has been finally fired.

Still...hire your man now. Like what you did with Marv.

This season is already written off.

Let the next guy come in an evaluate his team.

Why on earth does anyone think the Bills will go 4-3?

Well we will now see if the soft coverage was a Jauron thing or a Fewell thing as in playing DB's 10-15 yards off of the WR's on 3rd down.

Screw that nonsense....you're hiring for coach of a professional football team, not some federal bureaucrat.

If (big if) his man is a Cowher or Gruden or Billick they won't come now because they will wait for the offseason.

If it is a currently employed top assistant, he also can't be hired now.

It might not be possible to hire the man of choice right now.

Good for Perry Fewell, lets see what he can do as the man in charge and see what the results are.

So why will Fewell be a disater if he can get these clowns to win? Fewell could be a great coach. Now he has 7 games to prove it. What the Bills really need is a good GM/Player Personel guy. If the Bills do this right (a long shot, I know) the new GM will decide who is HC no matter how Perry Fewell does.

I'm not convinced a name coach is needed here. We need a guy who knows how to win. Having a name is no guarantee of W's. The football guy Ralph hires next is the key hire.

i understand where you're coming from but i do not believe in any way shape or form any of these guys will be head coach next year. i truly don't think most of the coaching staff will even be here next year. ralph knows he needs to bring in a proven coach. i believe that's why dick moron was fired. this gives the bills a head start to find their guy. the only way i see fewell even being a thought in ralph's mind is if he wins every game from here on out.

There's no way this team goes 4-3.... we had more than a head coach problem.

No QB, no offensive line... worst run defense in the league.

Perry Fewell can't fix that... and if he does... then he deserves the job.

Don't worry. Changing head coach won't change the results on the field. Fewell won't make the QB situation turn around.

What if Fewell turns in to the next great coach? We will all owe Dick Jauron a big thank you since he's the one who brought him here.

i hope not. we don't need to see more failures with defensive coaches and coordinators as HC's.
