I believe he played in St. Louis Productive guy if I remember. Mostly a blocking guy

Was drafted by the Rams on the second day. 4th or 5th I believe. Was a receiving TE in College. Not much of a blocker I dont think.

Wasn't that Sean Penn's character in Carlito's Way?

Same case as Bell, his biological father is Frankenstein.

He was actually fairly highly touted as a receiving TE coming out of college. Prolly not much different than Fine..

Wanted the Bills to pick him up in the draft, happy to have him aboard.

When McMichael was signed and Dominique Byrd semi-emerged, Klopfenstein was thrown on the back burner. Hope he does well in the reserve role.

no problwm with klop. he isn't outstanding but he did well in St Louis back when i knew he was still in the league.

Overrated coming out of college, but he runs solid routes and can catch the ball. His blocking ability is an issue and his athelticisim is not top notch. He is a better pass catcher than Fine, but a worse blocker.

He didn't even have a job yesterday did he? How can he be as good as some of you guys are saying. He's got to have some issues.

Nelson is better by a good bit.

No players don't have jobs all the time then come in and contribute almost immediately. See Aaron Stecker in Atlanta this season.

this team desperately needs linebackers and offensive tackles, but they sign a tight end. makes perfect sense

Fine went to IR, he needed to be replaced. We can't just have only 1 TE on the roster.

billsburgh, absolutely correct about what the bills need, but i believe they already scraped the bottom of the barrell by week 5. there is no one out there aside from picking up large looking delivery men at thsi point and praying they have a lot of talent.

Bills are going to have to use brains and money to get GOOD Lbs and OL into town starting february.

Is strong blocking a number one priority in a TE?

Depends on your scheme, it would be ideal for us because our OL could use all the help it can get.
