Buffalo will focus on offensive minded coaches

According to an nfl network piece.

Also, Canfora states that he has heard from "multiple sources" that the Bills will go after proven candidates.

However he believes Buffalo is not an attractive place for high profile coaches.

Okay, let me toss out some names that I feel are realistic venues and also good venues at head coach:

      1.) Jim Harbaugh
      2.) Jason Garrett
      3.) Brian Schottenheimer

Brian Schottenheimer intrigues me, because he does have a connection to Buffalo through his father.

How did you miss the "proven" requirement?

He's not proven, but as a Pac 10 guy, I am really impressed with what Harbaugh has done. He would be a good personality fit in Buffalo... not the time to be taking chances, though.

It doesn't matter if the coach is offensive minded or not. A good coach is a good coach, a bad coach is a bad coach.

Mularkey was offensive minded. How did he do again?

You think I'm going to fancy this bum Canfora? Who the **** is this guy? I don't respect his opinion. I highly doubt we bring in a proven coach.

                  Alright...

                  I digress...

I can understand your lack of confidence in the Bills to get a proven guy. Its very understandable. I'm on a different track... I'm hopeful we step up finally.

I didn't see Schefter reported this as well, I respect Schefter, he is usually on the money. Still, not a guarantee though.

La Canfora is the NFL Network's replacement for Schefter. He's been wrong a couple times, but he's been right a decent amount too.

Re: Buffalo will focus on offensive minded coaches

OCs who are good are obviously offensive minded and proven on that side of the ball.

Which means guys like Trestman, Weis, B. Schottenheimer would be candidates.

Depending on how you interpret "proven" and which aspect of "proven" you're going with.
