Get our young guys experience!!!!

Brohm needs at least another week to catch up with the O, and I don't know if starting a rookie WR with an inexperienced QB is a particularly good idea. However, our LB's blow so getting Harris out there wouldn't be a bad idea, and Maybin needs all the experience he can get.

I wouldn't start Brohm until he has some time to learn the playbook and get some practice time with the starters. I don't want to see the guy killed in his first week.

I agree about Harris, Hardy and especially Maybin.

Does anyone really care if he knows the playbook or not? Season's over people. Get players some experience. It doesnt matter if we lose by 50-100 points a game!

Brohm will probably have the playbook memorized before the plane even lands in Buffalo.

Hardly was limited in practice with a groin injury.

Yes. It will hinder his confidence. Give him a chance at building his confidence. Not knowing playbook plus getting killed behind the awful OL is not a good start. Give him 2 weeks.

Plus this board will attack him from the getgo if he throws a few picks. Trust me.

I disagree about Maybin. Why should he get playing time? Just because he was a 1st round pick?

Maybin should get on the field when his play is at least comparable to Chris Kelsey or Ryan Denney. Unfortunately, he is not even at that level yet. He has a long way to go.

How about the guy actually EARNS some playing time?

Nah start our vets. I did a 4 game parlay at $50 and one of them was the Bills covering the 9 1/2 spread against the Jaguars. I know im an idiot

I can't stand when people say it will "hurt his confidence." He's getting paid millions, he should be confident enough to get the job done. Having no confidence is a nice way of saying a QB sucks. If playing poorly hurts someone's confidence, they should not be an NFL quarterback. Favre sucked in his rookie year, but he never "lost his confidence."

On the other hand, the guy needs time to learn the playbook, this isn't Madden.

The Bills always seem to play well against the Jags, man. It might not be a bad bet.

I won a decent parlay last week... $2 bet on 4 underdogs, Green Bay, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Jacksonville. Won @150.

I also had a $2 bet on a 5 team parlay, those 4 and then NE over the Colts, I would've won $400. Right before the NE game, I put $200 on the Colts so that I'd win either way, glad I did.

Those are some nice payouts! I got lucky and hit for $600 off a 6 game parlay 2 weeks ago The casino I live by only pays out 11 to 1 on 4 game parlays. Got the -4 Panthers, Lions -5, Colts -2, and Bills +10 this week.

Well, I bet the underdogs straight up, no spread. I don't know the exact odds, but I think the Jags were like +295 and the Cincy was like +215 or something. I don't know exactly how they calculate it when it's not the standard -110, but I got a lot of money while betting a little.

Funny story, do you remember the Cowboys Chiefs game??? I had a parlay, betting all of the Over/Unders for the early game. I picked them randomly, didn't even look at who was playing. I won every single one, the only game left was the Boys game...

I bet the under, which was 44.5. With like 3 minutes left, the total score was 26 points, so I was pumped. Then the boys scored a TD to go up by 7. I'm still thinking I'm good, cuz the Chiefs won't score in 3 minutes. Well, they scored and put it into OT, total score was 40. So I'm like sweeeeeet, OT. Someone will kick a FG and it'll still be under 44.5.

Uh huh, then the 8 yard button hook turns into a 60 yard Touchdown for Austin queer Miles. I almost put my fist through my face.

I would've won $1300...

Playbook??? Playbook?? This is the NFL we are talking about, not some intramural flag football team. I want to see this franchise FINALLY start to act like they are playing in NFL stadiums, not in the local town park.

You can't just stick someone in there who doesn't know the playbook and expect them to perform at the NFL level. This isn't a pickup flag/touch football league where you say to your receivers "go out by the rusted Chevy and cut in and I'll hit you".

The playbook is what the QBs and WRs use to get on the same page.

I don't want to see a QB who knows nothing of our offensive "philosophy" (which, by the way, has been really OFFENSIVE) walk into a game and get his head ripped off.

Isn't that what this franchise has done over and over and over again?

Let's put down the crack pipe, step back, and think about the direction this team needs to go....not that I have anything to say regarding the future of the Bills. I just have invested a LOT of emotion in this team over the last 45 years, and have given up on this year.

This is really hard to say, because I have said it OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again....

...that seemed like a really repetitive paragraph, didn't it? Well, in my 45 years of being a Bills fan, that represents the first time that I have had to endure 10 (count the OVERs) years without a Bills playoff game.

I'm getting to old for this s**t.

It doesn't matter if we lose by 50-100 points a game!I don't know that there is any benefit to gaining experience when you haven't got a clue what you're supposed to do. In principle, I generally agree, that it's not a bad idea to go back into preseason mode and get the younger players on the field. The problem is that Fewell is going to see the last seven games as his audition, if not for the Bills, then possibly for another team. He can't showcase his coaching ability if he's playing young second and third stringers and the Bills are getting crushed every game. It's not really fair to him to tell him he's got to play a certain way knowing he's going to look bad doing it.

Isn't this ultimately about coaching with Brohm? To me, he needs an audition and Alex Van Pelt should be tasked with finding a "learning curve" he and Brian Brohm can succeed with. I've watched Brohm play, and I'm fairly sure it is the speed of the game that has him baffled. The only way to overcome that is to play, IMO! Don't start him until the final 3 or 4 games of the season, and custom make the offense to his strengths!! Easy huh??

I bet 6 games, a big teaser, and had 4 parlays going for the 1pm games. I ended up winning 6 bucks... Waste of effort.

With the injuries and the way our OL is playing Brohm will get to play soon enough.
