THE END OF ALL DAYS

well, Im sorry, but loosing is what this team needs to insure that Ralph finishes the job he started by firing dick. A few wins now makes ralphy thinnk its not so bad.
Loose= better draft pick and ralph continues to get rid of the garbage.

in two years thats when winning becomes important again. now winning is not important.... and it kills me to say it but losing ithe important thing now

Every win from this point decreases draft position. If you really cared about the team you would be logical, see the forest through the trees, just enjoy the game as entertainment, and hope they loose. I know some of your feeble brains don't get that, but higher draft pick is generally a good thing.

Besides, there is not difference between 3-13 and like, 6-10. They both = LOSER.

To repeat myself from last week, I think Fewell is very well spoken, ethusiastic and eager to lead. So much better to digest than the crypt keeper.

However, also to repeat myself, that's not an endorsement for him to permanently take over. Just a postiive statement about his ability to communicate and show some much needed emotion.

If there was ever a QB who looked more uncomfortable, indifferent, or just plain out of it, it's Fitzpatrick. Just look at his body language coming on and off the field. He makes Eli Manning look like Ray Lewis.

I mean seriously, show some life. Donk.

trapezeus
11-22-2009, 12:26 PM
lynch seems to want to make the first contact and then push through as opposed to just running fast.

give fewell and AVP credit for picking a back and trying to get him going. give them the neg for picking the wrong back to do it.

You can't crack back below the waist inside the tackle box. Nelson could have easily just blocked a guy up high.

trapezeus
11-22-2009, 12:37 PM
some things never change. a TD run taken back by a bad penalty and sucks the easy momentum away from us.

2 runs after the penalty? not very imaginative...but it doesn't help that lynch tripped on 2nd down.

TacklingDummy
11-22-2009, 12:37 PM
It's nice to see that people are finally seeing that Lynch is not that great of a back.

Michael82
11-22-2009, 12:38 PM
okay, I've changed my mind on Lynch....it's almost as if he doesn't want to be here anymore. If Shanahan comes here, I wouldnt be surprised if he trades him for whatever he can get.

DraftBoy
11-22-2009, 12:38 PM
Wel Ill take a lead, not very happy about it, since Nelson ****ed us out of an easy TD score.

that was Fewell not calling a timeout.

the only reason an OC calls a run right there is if he was told by the head coach to make sure we get points on this drive and they're playing for a FG.

Yes, but i do keep constant contact with my coordinators (both offense and defense) and i get to hear the playcalls as they're sent in. As a coach i can assure you nothing is ever called which i don't agree with.

If my OC is calling a dive play there at that time and distance it's because i told my OC i want guaranteed points on that drive and we're playing for the FG.

If Fewell isn't involved in the plays AVP is calling or had no say in how the end of that drive broke down he's not qualified to be HC. So one way or another he either knew what was happening and approved (or even directed it) or he's incompetent and shouldn't be HC.

either way it sucks.

I agree, and I have no doubt that he is in contact, but as an interm HC whose only ever worked defensively before, do you think he's ready after 4 days to make a 2 minute drive call on offense? I mean do you think he's ready to call the best play for that situation?

If the dive play is to ensure points, I get it. I dont like it, I think its the wrong call, and should of been a TO instead.

I never said he wasn't involved. My question and disagreement with you, is how much is he. A guy who has never even worked offensively so far, has had 4 days to learn our O and philosophy and make the right call there. I think its more like Ing said, where he just told AVP to ensure we got points. If so I still don't like it, and think its horrible time management, but the play calling that some people brought up is not on Fewell directly.
