    Titans' Adams buys ad in Buffalo News

    Seeking closure, Titans owner Bud Adams bought a prime piece of Buffalo real estate -- Sunday's back page of The Buffalo News sports section.
    Buffalo News 091122The NFL fined Titans owner Bud Adams $250,000 for obscene gestures he made last Sunday.


    Adams took out a full-page color advertisement in The News amid the controversy that followed his obscene gestures in Nashville last week during the Titans' rout of the Bills.
    "We wish the Bills and their fans good luck today and for the remainder of the season," a large white caption in the blue ad says. A photo of Buffalo's defensive line anchors the page, topped with a Bills team logo.

      Not sure how I feel about this one... a classy gesture, but where's the apology? And what the hell is that Titans logo doing in our hometown paper?!? Still, better than nothing.
