The field is gonna look pretty sweet with the green endzones and the charging buffalo at the 50.

I wonder how they did that. They painted the logos and letters on the padding, put the Astoplay down, then cut out the designs and re -installed colored astro-play.

Where do they know to cut?

I don't know but those yellow over-alls that guy is wearing are pretty cool. If you got some of those and a mesh hat you would be the coolest guy on the block.[

Nice Plummer's butt on the other guy... I bet he wished he had a pair of cool yellow overalls before his pic went up in front of millions on the internet.

Is it just me, or does the bottom-left portion of the "S" look off from the other letters?

That's pretty sweet. Man, green endzones, and the Bills charging buffalo logo on the 50. It's going to look SHARP! :D

Maybe the paint is detectable using some sort of sensor. Magnetic perhaps - you can put magnetic dust down and use a sensor to find it below allowing you to paint on flat surfaces (easier) and then mark it from above and cut out.

I'm starting to notice that the green in the field may be a darker color the than the bench areas, while originally they looked to be the same color. I wonder if it is an optical illusion, or it really is darker.

It could have something to do with the pulverized rubber.

After it is installed, the pulverized rubber is "combed in" between the blades to fluff it up and make it more spongey like real grass.

I'd assume it's not needed in the bench area.
