View Full Version : Possible Starting QB for the 2010 Bills?

Obviously, unless Brohm, by some miracle, plays the final few games of the season and shows he's a possible NFL QB, the future QB is not on the Bills current roster. Drafting one is fine, but I doubt the new head coach will want to start a rookie, especially behind the horrible mess called the Bills O-line.

I would not, for one second, be suprised if Daunte Culpepper was Bills' starting QB in 2010. Do I want this? No. But, barring a trade, there are no better options out there, unless some big name QB gets cut, which is highly unlikely.

I'd rather have Pennington (even with the arm strength of my 11 year old female niece) than Culpepper.

We need a vet, hope Brohm shows some promise, and draft a rookie and I'll be happy.

This **** isn't rocket science, I don't know why these guys that make the big bucks make it out to be.

I'd rather have Garcia as long as he's not allowed to speak publicly

I wonder if the Cards would be willing to cut there losses on Leinart for a mid round pick? Like a 4 or a 5

no want leinart. and warner's not getting younger, so theyll probly want to keep him. same reason philly probly wont trade kolb.

I was thinking Kolb. Highly unlikely though as you said.

Not saying Brohm is the guy, but if he doesn't play a few games at the end of the season, how does that eliminate him from being a serious contender for the job? I'm more interested to see what he does in training camp then i am about what he does in the last 2 games if he's given a shot.

Now that is a truly cynical post.

The scene may be considerably different in a few months from what it is right now. There may be a few possibilities then that we can't even imagine right now. That said, I think the Bills will draft a QB, though the signing of Brohm probably drops the likely round in which he is taken by a couple. I think the Bills will also sign a veteran free agent, but it's not going to be a big name guy who comes in and takes charge of the position from day one. It'll be a second or third tier guy who comes in and competes.

Boller.

Draft pick.

I do not believe the starter is on the roster as of right now and to be honest unless Brohm plays well, I don't think any of our current QBs will be around next year.

I will go out on a limb and tell you that a decent head coach will probably have Edwards well in the mix.

I really believe that if Edwards isn't traded in the off-season that he'll be the starter next year.

Well that would lead to a 3-13 year! Can't wait!
