All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Lonnie Harvey and Jason Watkins signed to practice squad
Practice squad additions are in the latter part of the short article.
No, these guys aren't going to make any difference to the Bills in the short term or probably in the long term either. The Harvey signing is interesting only because Harvey was thought of as a pure 3-4 nose tackle coming out of Morgan State. He's a load at 345 lbs. and 6'3" but can move pretty well for that size. Strictly a project player.

it's the practice squad guys....our starters practice against these guys, so when we play a 3-4 team this harvey guy takes the role of lets say....casey hampton for all intensive purposes, dnt look too much into this

Of course, you can't read too much into any practice squad transaction, but while Fewell has players in pads for some practices, they don't go full speed and beat up on each other. For practice purposes, an undersized (for a nose tackle) guy of only 300 lbs can play the role of the other team's nose tackle with no problem.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
