How likely is this to happen? As much as I want to see Brohm, I doubt it. This team does not play young guys when the season is lost to prepare for next season.

Agreed, and I said that in the opening.. Fewell is coaching for his job, he doesnt care about this team's future, nor should he.

Would you play a vet or a PS squad player if it were your job at stake?

I don't see any sure fire, franchise QBs in this bunch, anyway.

You may want to mention Carolina too. After all, San Fran gets their first round pick come April.

Regardless of what happens this year with Brohm, I expect the Bills to draft a QB, but in the 3rd to 5th round range. I think they also sign an second tier veteran free agent, then stage a competition in training camp for the starting job. I don't know that such a strategy will work, but it leaves the Bills free to draft other positions of need in the first couple of rounds. Our best hope in the scenario I laid out would probably be that Brohm is ready to blossom next season.

This is actually what I want to happen. Draft a, say, 4th-round QB, along with the future LT in the first or second round. If that QB doesn't really work out as a starter, then draft a top 2011 QB. This year is pretty weak in terms of QB's anyway.
