I was going to say the Sabres win, but the curse of Op wins out.

Very poorly officiated game thus far. There have been at least half a dozen obvious penalties that have not been called.

I hate to say this, but this team is reverting back to the team we've seen for the past two years. Ughh...I really didn't think it would happen, but this is becoming a trend, not a slump.

Pominville and Roy are the biggest waste of money in the history of this organization...Aren't they both making $7 million a year?

They're both making salaries that are movable. I wouldn't shed one tear if either was packaged to get a solid player in here who plays hard every game.

Thanks but they are still making too much for their lack of production. Roy had the game tying goal right on his stick and missed again.

yeah just be careful what you wish for. The Sabres would probably move one of them for a back up goaltender then try to "improve" production by moving Stafford or MacArthur to the front line.

I don't know who's going to be available at the deadline this year, but the only real chance the Sabres have for a playoff run is to hold on until then, then grab the best available scorer regardless of what it costs.

This is disheartening....

It was Ovechkin's 17th goal, which gave him a one-goal lead over the Sabres' top line of Roy (four goals), Pominville (five) and Vanek (seven).

Gaustad, Kaleta and Rivet better be gunning for that douche when they meet again on 12/23. This is the 2nd time he's taken a cheap shot at the Sabres. I was at the game last time when he slammed Briere head-first into the boards as Briere was heading off on a line change.

If these guys don't start standing up for each other, then we're going to get guys taking runs at our players and have injuries, like Miller and Tallinder last year.
