DL Mace promoted from PS/TE Klopfenstein released

What the hell is this organization's fascination with Mace??? This guy is an example of them keeping mediocre players around and not having good enough backups when called upon.

I am just trying to figure out why Todd Johnson is still on the roster ? How many safeties are on this roster anyway ?

The Bills had four DTs on the roster. Two are injured. This is simply a case of the Bills feeling it's too much to expect two DTs to take every defensive snap. Mace was not on the PS at the beginning of the season. They picked him up because they knew injuries had left them thin and he knows the system. There's not much in the way of quality available on the free agent market at this time of year.

We have 7 WRs on the roster and cut our RB depth to activate Hardy only to have him inactive for the next 2 games making the move completely useless

we got 6 Safties on the roster and 6 Cbs on the roster yet we have only 2 Rbs, 1 FB, 2 TEs, and we have serious depth issues at LB and DLine and Oline

we promote a guy that we cut 2 times already and he wasnt good enough to have on 2 7-9 teams. I think there is a direct realtion to the fact he is a Canuck born player and out Toronto game is coming up trying to promote the NFL there, he was promoted last yr right before the Toronto game to, He is a horrible player and was horrible in the preseason games, there are guys out there we could sign better than him makes no sense whatsoever

Also we have Fred Jackson returning punts and kicks exposing him to injury while he pay good money for Parrish who is a PR and KR by trade 3to sit the bench

I don't have a problem with bringing Mace in tbh. With Stroud 'doubtful' we will be short handed at the DT position.The problem I have with it is cutting a TE, when we only have 2 on the roster. This, to me, is roster mis-management all over again. We have too many WRs and Safeties, and certainly enough that are fit to play, to be making this move.

Your point is well taken with respect to WRs and safeties. I understand the necessity of activating Hardy if the team has any though that he might develop. but Parrish should not be on the roster, and Jenkins will never be more than a fringe player. Mace and McCargo are on the roster because the Bills need so many warm bodies at the position and they don't have better talent. They do need to upgrade. and Stroud isn't getting any younger. He'll hit the wall eventually.
