Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta has been suspended for two games, without pay, for an incident in NHL game #356 against Philadelphia Flyers forward Jared Ross, Friday afternoon, the National Hockey League announced today.
Kaleta will miss tonight’s game against Carolina and Nov. 30 at Toronto. He will be eligible to return December 3 against Montreal.

and Oven Chicken gets NOTHING! for the same type of hit on Kaleta. This only proves that the NHL will stand by their :star: players and won't suspend them!
"[Ross] knew he was coming," Ruff said. "He took a quick look right before, and then he turned. The difference there is it was a young player called up, he knows he's going to get hit on a heavy forecheck, and at the last second you're asking our player to hit the brakes."
