Is Kennedy going to try that wrap around? Granted, I can't see w
every game, but he's tried it in every game Ive been able to watch and it hasn't worked yet.

Is this the same move that he scored the GWG against the Devils?

I don't remember, but so what if it was? It worked once out of 60 tries so he continues to attempt it every time? If I can pick up on it, other teams have to have it scouted.

I hope he keeps doing it - he's getting the puck on net. If Grier or whoever is in front, there's a good chance they'll get a rebound.

Yeah I agree, there's no reason to complain about shots on goal. Any shot can lead to a scoring chance.

If this shot were leading to odd-man rushes, then it would be a bad situation, but since it doesn't, then what 's the problem?

The problem is that he gets in too close and takes away his own angle. Even if there is a rebound, it isn't muchbof one because it's not a hard shot.

There's a difference between shots on goal and scoring chances. Hell, the Sabres could skate over the blue line and take 40 foot shots on goal all night but it won't help them win.

Looks like Kennedy helped them win last night.

Op this really seems like a waste of a thread here. I watch every game and I don't notice Kennedy going for too many Wrap arounds. It isn't like he is skating in on a break away or a 2 on 1 and instead of taking an open shot he circles behind the net and goes for the wrap around. He gives them a shot when they are available as he should.

I've never once noticed that he takes too many wrap around shots either. In fact, I have zero issue with Kennedy's play and I've been very pleased with him.
