BTW I am not promoting Fewell as our HC, just saying how much of the problem Jauron was.

Fewell is the same DC who didnt protect the sidelines against Dallas and who runs this Cover 2 garbage. But hey, its a good change for the rest of this season.

I was glad to see them go for it instead of "play not to lose".

actually when we had that 4th and 1 i said to my girlfriend.. that if the bills kicked a FG or punted we deserved to lose, because that's a course a scared and timid coach takes (and why i was glad ass-hats like Gregg Williams and Dick Jauron are gone).

I was ecstatic when they chose to go for it. Really.. if you don't try to win a football game you probably won't win. That was the mistake that Fewell made in jax... he wasn't coaching to win.

The same defense also picked Romo five times and scored twice in that game. While I can't stand the 'bend but don't break' philosophy of our cover 2 late in the game, it'd be hard to blame our D for many loses in the past 3-4 years.

I also liked how we ran the ball down Miami's throat in the last two minutes of the game. The only other game in recent history that I remember us imposing our will like that was the Jets game last year which ended with another JP blunder. Lynch was demoralizing the Jets up until that ridiculous play call.

exactly, our defense is fine if our offense can generate points.

I loved that too.

For those attending the game...after we scored with FJ's TD at the end, on TV the announcer plainly said, "The Buffalo Bills have broken Miami's spirit" There were no sweeter words I could have heard...

If anybody makes a video of this game (BAM ?) can you please include those announcer's comments at the end?

I actually believe that Jauron would have gone for it

Meathead

of course he would have. it would have been a 53 yard fg from there (<50%) which if they missed gives them the ball at the 43. and even dick wouldnt have punted from there with only a yard to go, hes more likely to try the fg than to punt. so the decision was pretty easy

contrary to popular opinion, dicks problem wasnt usually going for it or not, it was CHOOSING the right time. he always seemed to goforit when they shouldnt have and played conservative when they need to take chances. it was uncanny how he almost always did exactly opposite what a seasoned coach would have done, and he never learned his lesson

not since the brilliant hank bullough have i jumped up and down screaming at a coaches call like i did with dick. hes the george castanza of football coaching
