He also draws doubles which allows for Kyle Williams to go one on on.

Pat Willaims didn't have a problem with doubles. If he can't do anything then we should find someone who can.

I commented in the gameday thread that I like what Williams has done and it is, in part, from the work of Stroud.

I think you're being short sighted here.

Stroud is hurt, he's getting doubled, and he's out there way too much (as is the whole defense). A playmaking DT isn't going to alone make this team much better. Its just one of many positions that could use an upgrade.

The problem with our run d isn't the d-line, its the LBers (there are far better run defenses with far worse lines then ours, the LBing corps is atrocious.)

he actually sees triple teams occassionally. the rest of that DL is so weakk an ineffective that they can t off on him. Schobel is ok, and Stroud is ok,, they need two more real guys out there. williams is ok, but they need a real defensive end or a real star DT.

stroud isn't lighting it up, but his spot is hardly a need where we toss him. he's effective. he needs help.

And that is a direct result of Jauron, Perry Fewell's stupid Cover 2 and the idiots in the football department. Damn it...I want a housecleaning!!!!!
