When you install a defensive coordinator who has led a defense that has been ranked in the very bottom of the league for 4 years straight as a head coach...you're going to get the same horrid results on defense with perhaps a few more gutsy calls on offense. That, and all the tea in China will amount to JACK SQUAT!

I can see 7 players on this team who I want to see on it next year, and that's about it. I really hope we get rid of Whitner, McCargo, Youboty, and all the other draft busts of the past drafts because anymore it just angers me seeing them on the field knowing we wasted top draft picks on these guys who when replaced by backups who play special teams, you hardly notice the difference.

Disagree, the defense was brutal! And Fitz ws awful. Even on last play TO beat revis and he underthrew it. Playcalling was awful too.

the run defense was just as bad as the oline as usual. I feel like they ran for 400 yards and we passed for 100 yards.

It all starts in the trenches. We were dominated (as usual) on both lines. It's been the same damn story since manboobs was here. Look at our wins this year, the only reason we have any is that the other team just flat out tanked it that day and coughed up multiple turnovers. We never control the line of scrimmage or clearly outgain our opponents.

This is exactly right...and it has to change. We need to actually earn the wins and dominate teams...then and only then, will I start to think this team is moving in the right direction.
