ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Wegmans supermarket a few minutes from Ralph Wilson Stadium was buzzing four hours before the Buffalo Bills took the field last Sunday. Fans spent hundreds of dollars at the deli counter and on bags of ice, snacks and charcoal, and on cases of beer.

“It stinks,” said Amy Morgan, the owner of Tailgaters Bar & Grill, which makes about 70 percent of its monthly sales on game days, when 10 workers are employed. “They’re taking revenue away.

Yes. And when your business is relying on 8 days during the entire calendar year to boost profits, 12.5% means something. Especially considering the state of the economy.

The Bills don't owe businesses ****! When your business is relying on 8 days during the entire calendar year to boost profits, you need to rethink your business if it relies on 8 days.

The fact of the matter is that everyone gets robbed. The team, the fans, the local business, the rest of America who has to watch that poor excuse of a football atmosphere on TV.

I have a friend that attends concerts in Canada and says that no one gets out of their seats or makes noise of any sort, maybe that is why so many Canadians come down to the games in Buffalo, it is the only time they are allowed to have fun and be loud and crazy because clearly they don't allow it in Canada with their beady little eyes and their stupid flapping heads.

no so smart BBlitz since most of the retail world relies on 25 + days for over 50% of its revenue!!!! One game means the world to the small business owner keep it local!!!!

Yeah they do. Ralphie takes state funds which are paid for by the taxpayers, US, which means he does owe something to the community which just happens to include local businesses. Got it?

Would local businesses rather have one game go to Toronto, or 8 games go to LA? Got it?

Exactly. Beggers can't be choosers. Don't bite the hand that fed you for years and still continues to feed you, Local businesses.
