If I combined then yes I would rank Devlin ahead of Pike. Devlin would be my highest ranked QB right now.

Well keep in mind my boards are going to be very different from others you see. I dont rank much with the mainstream, so you're going to see McShay, and Kiper have some guys a lot higher than I have them. Specifically in the QB department. They care more about correctly projecting where the kid will be drafted, while I care more about projecting if he will be successful.

everybody's boards are different. i have never seen two that are exactly alike.... including Kiper and McShay.

not sure... might depend on how he works out. But he's a bit inaccurate (you'd like to see a prospect with a higher then 60% completion percentage). and hasn't played a lot. That makes his bust potential to be astronomically high. He would be a fool not to stay in college one more year.

that said, who knows? this years QB class sucks so much he could pull a losman and squeak into round one just on pure physical tools alone.

Be fair though, his receivers have dropped alot of balls at Arkansas, dude. At times he nailed his receivers right on their shoulders, chest and hands but they still managed to drop a ton of passes.

I'll tell you who he reminds me of. Kyle Boller (though i suppose that's probably going overboard... Boller never had a 57% in completion percentage in college, i think his highest was 51%... or 53%, and that was in just his senior season)

Taylor Mays is absolutely way too high. He is horrid in coverage and those bone jarring hits are a thing of the past as of this year. He only like to give a forearm shiver now as the receiver falls into the endzone.

Yes and some of those drops are because he is rifling balls he should be putting touch on.

You dont have a sub %60 cmp pct just on drops alone. Mallet has a lot of work to do, he'd probably be somewhere in the mid 20's on the Jr Big Board.

He will be gone early anyway.

You gotta love how Mallett can thread that ball in there, he is a capable thrower in the 20 yard line, some QBs just don't have that kind of straight arm trajectory type of throws needed for threading the needle in the redzone. I'm going to try to stop bringing his name up so much, but the prospect of Mallett in a Bills uniform makes me giddy like a schoolgirl, haha, but umm yeah, if he goes back to school for another year, there is a good chance he goes #1 overall in 2011, that's if he continues to improve which I think he will.
