A Day of Watching top QB'S

    First Tony Pike...

I thought Pike was who i thought he was a wiry system QB who lacks the Big arm to get the ball down field. Pike does posess good leadership and what to do to win.. He does not throw a tight spiral . 3rd rd at best.. No for Buffalo...

Tebow- once again great leadership footwork need a lot of work...Speedy tough defense gave him problems.. More of a guy who needs two good years of solid coaching to be a player at QB.. mid first to late 1st ....would take a chance if we had a solid Vet other than Fitzpatrick to play for two years while he developed...
Maybe a Bill ..Not my first choice

Just joined in progress Washinton and Cal...My Thoughts on Locker are coming...

McCoy also coming as Texas play Neb.

Tebow looked very poor at times.

Lack of pocket presence, incorrect throws, didn't look like he was going through any kind of read progression, got rattled, etc.

Dont let your day end yet and go watch Locker vs. Cal... if you can.

Locker is having his best game of the year right now.

He almost looks like a 1st rounder. (first time i've thought that)

Hes to the QB position what Maybin was to the DE position last year.

Hes the streaky, green guy with the most upside. Bradford is Orakpo and Clausen is Brown.

Maybe the analogy works, maybe not.

I think Locker has all the skills to be a solid pro QB, but he's raw as hell.

At this point, is there any college QB who doesn't have a significant bust factor? I feel like Bradford is probably the "safest" pick, but even he's got serious issues (durability, surrounded by blue chippers, etc.)

I've got Texas-Nebraska on right now.

Taking turns throwing 'completions' to the opposing defenses.

yeah... if i was advising him i'd tell him to stay in school one more year. his numbers are not that good. I was just looking at them, and really.. he has no business even THINKING about coming out this year with those numbers.

those aren't 1st round pick numbers. those aren't even 3rd rounder numbers.

And yes... Bradford is probably the only "sorta safe" 1st round QB in this draft (and i'm not even sold on him).

Bradford is the safest 1st rounder.

And I could easily see him not be the 1st QB taken, and even drop to us.

the more i see of this years QB class the worse it looks.

I'm to the point now that i think it might be a GREAT year for Pat Devlin and Ryan Mallett to come out early.

All they'd have to do is have a pulse in workouts to get first round buzz...

If they don't, watch for Tim Hiller.. if he can have a kickass senior bowl, a good combine and workouts he'll be in the talk for 1st round.

I wouldn't mind waiting another season for Mallett, keep tabs on how he performs next year.

btw: Devlin, Mallett and Hiller all crushed Locker's year this year. and i mean badly crushed it.

Locker's completion percentage (56.7%) scares the hell out of me. I'm a fairly firm believer that you need at least 60%.

                            Although, Mallett's isn't any better really (57.2%).

When I was a senior in college I heard this argument about a certain Bills draftee named J.P. Losman and, after actually watching him, I swore I would never blindly believe it again.
